What is Conscious Eating?
This simple and powerful technique is a deep dive into mindfulness in relation to eating. Conscious Eating is a potent tool of transformation, that opens us up to a whole new way of being. One of freedom and joy.
How can it benefit me?
Through cultivating a connection with our body, Conscious Eating enables us to hear the body's satiation signals, improves digestion, helps us discern the impact of certain foods on the body, alleviates stress around food, enables us to hear our 'true hunger', reveals the disempowering beliefs, memories and emotions we have around food, and elevates us beyond willpower and the need to control the body.
However, it gives so much more than create a harmonious relationship with food and with our body, it helps us unravel emotions and beliefs that sabotage and undermine our quality of life
We eat multiple times a day, each time we eat is an opportunity to enter stillness, to step out of stress and the 'have tos', 'shoulds', 'got tos' and 'musts'. Through Conscious Eating we develop and refine our awareness.
So in the beginning, it helps us have a happier digestion and make wiser food choices, and hear the wisdom of our body, understand the patterns around nourishment and food that are keeping us caught in sabotaging behaviours...as we continue, it becomes an anchor of alignment, opening us to stillness, intuition, inner joy, self-compassion and a means to unravel what we're not and cultivate what we are.

In this workshop, you will learn the foundation of Conscious Eating through Marisha's step by step framework. We will also practice together as we enjoy a hearty bowl of soup and bread made by Su Ling and full of nourishing goodness.
Through learning the practice of Conscious Eating, we will also explore the Body's Wisdom, what True Hunger is and the path of Radiant Nourishment.
